1. Who we are

Onterra Tutor is operated by Onterra Nigeria Limited (RC-918935), Lagos, Nigeria. You can reach us any time at info@onterra.ng. IELTS is a registered trademark of the British Council, IDP and Cambridge; they do not endorse this site, and nothing here is an official IELTS product.

2. What the service is

Onterra Tutor provides IELTS practice tools: writing and speaking scoring against the official band descriptors, listening and reading practice tests, question banks and progress tracking. Every band score on this site is a practice estimate produced by our scoring engine. It is not an official IELTS result and no score here guarantees any score on the real test.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping access to your email secure, since sign-in links and password resets go there. One account per person. We may suspend accounts used for abuse, resale, automated scraping, or attempts to overload or reverse the scoring service.

4. Free tier and paid plans

The free tier includes a limited number of scored practices per day, and its limits can change. Paid plans (the Test-Ready Bundle and the Monthly plan) remove daily limits for their stated period. Bundle purchases are one-time and do not renew. Monthly subscriptions paid by card renew until cancelled; you can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Prices are shown before you pay and may change for future purchases, never retroactively.

5. Payments and refunds

Payments are handled by our payment partners (card processors, bank transfer to our corporate account, or USDT). Our Refund Policy explains when we refund; the short version is that if the service is broken for you and we cannot fix it, you get your money back.

6. Your content

Essays you submit and recordings you make stay yours. You give us the limited licence needed to process them, score them, and (for signed-in users) store them in your practice history. Practice questions and site content are ours or our licensors' and are for your personal preparation, not republication.

7. What we don't promise

The service is provided as-is. We work hard on accuracy and uptime, but we do not warrant uninterrupted service or that practice estimates will match your official results. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be flagged on the site, and continued use after a change means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes belong to the courts of Lagos State.
